Not sure about the quality of the product yet

There were no installation instructions accompanying the product. I used online instructions, but had to change some printer settings in order for it to accept non-Dell toner cartridges. When I first placed the cartridges in, the printer said: "Wrong toner cartridge." It took a bit of online searching to find out how to get around that.
The cartridges all spilled toner while I was inserting them into the printer, which I had to clean out of the printer after I installed them.
Since I have installed the cartridges, the print quality has had streaks, where the toner is not being applied evenly across the page. I had attempted to rock the cartridges from side to side to distribute the toner evenly before inserting the cartridges. My wife thinks that perhaps the quality will improve as we do more printing. I hope so...
