HP Color LaserJet Enterprise Series Toner Cartridges

You know you can rely on your HP Color LaserJet Enterprise Series printer to keep you and your office productive. Whether you need documents in crisp black and white or brilliant color, this printer will print what you need quickly and efficiently.

When it comes time to replace the toner in your printer, you may find yourself searching the shelves for HP Color LaserJet Enterprise toner within your budget. These steep prices may cause you to begin looking for a toner alternative to help you save money.

Luckily, when you shop at Supplies Outlet, you will easily find the toner you need at great prices. Our inventory of compatible toners is reliable and produce a similar printing quality to an HP brand ink. Keep reading below to learn more about our compatible toner options.

What Toner Is Compatible With the HP Color LaserJet Enterprise Series?

Every printer contains a microchip that ensures your printer will only work when you insert a specific cartridge number. This microchip is present in name brand and compatible toners with this cartridge number. This number will be the brand of your printer, a number, and for some toner cartridges, letters, too.

To find the cartridge number that will operate in your printer, you have a variety of options. If you still have the box you purchased your printer in, this will have your cartridge number. You can also look through your owner's manual or locate your cartridge currently in use to find the number.

The Supplies Outlet website is also a great resource for finding the cartridge number for your printer. Input your printer's brand, printer family and model number to see your cartridge number and a complete list of compatible cartridges available for purchase.

How to Replace or Install Toner Cartridges for the HP Color LaserJet Enterprise Series

When your printer is running low on toner, you will receive a message on your printer's screen. Before replacing the toner in your machine entirely, you will want to redistribute the toner. During daily operation, the toner in your cartridges may become unevenly disbursed and cause the sensor to mistakenly indicate that the cartridge is empty when there is still enough toner for printing inside.

To redistribute the toner, open the front door of your printer and remove the toner cartridge that is low in ink. Gently rock this cartridge back and forth five or six times and then insert it back into the printer. If you are still receiving an empty toner message, replace your cartridge by following these steps:

  1. Locate the front panel of your printer and pull it toward you to open it.
  2. You will see a row of cartridges. Grab the handle of the cartridge you need to replace and pull it toward you to remove it.
  3. Set your empty cartridge aside, and be careful not to touch the nozzle to avoid getting ink on your clothes or skin.
  4. Remove your new cartridge from its protective shell packaging. You can save this packaging to use when recycling your used toner cartridge.
  5. Hold the end of the new toner cartridge and rock it back and forth five or six times to evenly spread the toner.
  6. Remove the protective plastic from the new toner cartridge. This protective piece is also recyclable.
  7. Place one hand underneath the cartridge and hold the cartridge handle with the other. Align the cartridge with its placement in the printer and then slowly insert the cartridge. Avoid touching the green imaging drum as this can cause issues when printing.
  8. Gently swing the front door of your printer upward to close it and resume printing.

Why Buy Compatible Toner for the HP Color LaserJet Enterprise Series

When it comes time to buy a new toner cartridge for your printer, you want to find the best deal possible. As you shop for a deal you may notice that while the cost of buying a printer is relatively inexpensive, the price of ink continues to climb. This business model makes it difficult for many customers to find the ink they need at desirable prices.

At Supplies Outlet, we offer a solution to the expensive cost of name brand ink with our compatible toner options. Our compatible toners are lower in price than an HP brand and will produce the same great printing job as an HP Color LaserJet Enterprise Toner cartridge. Each of our toner cartridges also uses recycled materials to help lower our environmental footprint.

Compatible toner is similar in concept to a generic brand you see at other retailers. Much like these generic brands, our compatible toners may also differ in size and shape compared to an HP cartridge. These differences are due to patent restrictions and will not affect your printing or void your printer's warranty.
